Palomar ICON system:

The new ICON aesthetic system offers multiple skin rejuvenation and skin resurfacing technologies.  It includes a fractional non-ablative laser for wrinkles, resurfacing, scars and striae; a fractional ablative laser for wrinkles and resurfacing; and a pulsed light device for treatment of pigmented and vascular lesions.  There is now FDA clearance to combine both non-ablative and ablative fractional lasers during the same treatment.  This specific collection of skin resurfacing and Photofacial technologies allows Dr. Cova to tailor a complete skin rejuvenation regimen for each client.

Rosacea and facial redness:

Some of the most common concerns for the medical aesthetic patient include diffuse facial redness and telangectasias resulting from UV exposure and rosacea.  Intense Pulsed Light devices work by eliminating wavelengths that target unwanted veins and vessels just under the skin.

Stretch marks and scars:

The Palomar 1540 fractional laser is used to treat scars (both acne and surgical) and stretch marks. It is currently the only laser treatment that is FDA approved for the treatment of stretch marks.  Dr. Cova is proud to provide this service and it has proven to be an excellent aesthetic solution to improve the appearance of stretch marks or Striae.
