You and your doctor will receive results in ~2 weeks

Here are what the results mean:
Normal Signal Detected means that signals associated with colon cancer tumors were not found.
Abnormal Signal Detected raises concern for the presence of a tumor in the colon or rectum. A colonoscopy may be necessary to determine presence of colorectal cancer.
To learn about your results and discuss next steps, talk to your healthcare provider.
Your results will be available on GuardantGO.com/patient
Important Safety Information
Shield is intended for patients 45 and older who are at average risk for colorectal cancer and remain unscreened. Shield is intended to be complementary to, and not a replacement for, current recommended CC screening methods. Patients with an abnormal Shield result should be referred for a diagnostic colonoscopy evaluation. A normal Shield result does not rule out colorectal cancer and patients should continue participating in guideline-recommended screening programs.
